A pseudo view of Versahl, the tiny pension village we stayed in. This is a view from the Angerhof, owned by the Fuchs family, a mere 'kilometer' from Ischgl. Versahl has no services, but it did have a tiny, closed, chapel. We're not sure where the kilometer started and ended, but on foot, it was definitely farther than a kilo, and we had the pleasure of walking across an avalanche threatened slope to get to and from town. Woo hoo, livin' on the edge! Oh, it was about 33 Euro/night/person, and included breakfast. I've never eaten so many soft boiled eggs in my life. In fact I'd never eaten a soft boiled egg in my life before this trip! A few times the consistency pushed me a few notches closer to becoming a vegan! Gross!
