Ken & Saundra, our New Year's hosts. They're from Bend, Oregon and have lived and taught in Indonesia, Kuwait and the UAE! We had an AMAZING layman's firewoks display in their neighborhood. There were US sized fireworks going off all around the neighborhood...all night long! Surely some Poles were going to the emergency room that night!
