Driving on Polish 'highways' is a lot like playing Russian roulette, pun intended!
It took us 8 hours to get from the border crossing to Warsaw...where the same distance would've taken around 3-4 hours on the Deutschland's autobahns. Rough, curvy, hol(e)y, lacking in paint, lacking in signage and is overloaded with crazy drivers who don't play by any rules except that the driver more or less drives on the right (or left of middle!) side of the road.
I'm too pooped to write more now, but it looks like our digi pics came out OK, but not great. It seems my camera's on the fritz, especially when it's either cold or dark out...I'll see what I can get posted before we take off for Stage 2 of Jill 'n Jeremy's 2005 Central Europeal/Alps Tour!
