Mont Blanc (4810m) from afar (SSW) during a hike along a tiny portion of the Tour de Mont Blanc in the Beaufort region (tasty cheese!). After summiting via le trois Mont Blanc (3 peaks over 4000m) we descended the long, exposed but easy Gouter route (left skyline from highest point). Beautiful views, but super ugly, loose rock descent once off the glacier. Ick!
